TITLE: Moaning Holes
DESCRIPTION: These holes, 165-feet underground at the bottom of Moaning Cavern's main chamber, hold the secret to the cave's trademark moan. When water levels are just right, water dripping into these holes causes a hollow sound which echoes around the cavern, bouncing off a drapery called the Angels Wing. From the right spots in the cavern, an eerie moaning can be heard.
