A: Coupons are available for discounts on our walking tours on this website. Anyone who visits this website qualifies for the coupon discount. These coupons cannot be combined with any other discounts. Click HERE to get a coupon for your cavern visit, and HERE for a Sutter Gold Mine coupon. Qualifying groups listed below are eligible for the larger group discounts which are listed under "What are the discount prices?" in the column at left.

Schools
Discounts are available for school groups when the following conditions are met:

• Group must consist of a minimum of 5 students and 1 adult.
  
• Group must be reserved in advance. Call 209-736-2708 or toll free 866-762-2837 to make reservations.
• Scheduled trip does not take place during a holiday period or on any weekend from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
• Trip must be organized through a school class/program (home schools are fine).
  
• Total cost is paid in one payment on arrival for walking tours and rappels. (Please note: Those paying individually will be charged full price.)
  
• Total is paid in advance for wild cave expeditions. (Please note: Those paying individually will be charged full price.) Any minor child doing the rappel or the Adventure Trip with the rappel must have a parent or legal guardian present.

Scouts
Discounts are available for scout groups when the following conditions are met:

• Group must consist of a minimum of 5 scouts and 1 adult.

• Scheduled trip does not take place during a holiday period or on any weekend from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
• Trip must be organized through the troop.
  
• Total cost is paid in one payment on arrival for walking tours and rappels. (Please note: Those paying individually will be charged full price.)
  
• Total is paid in advance for wild cave expeditions. (Please note: Those paying individually will be charged full price.) Any minor child doing the rappel or the Adventure Trip with the rappel must have a parent or legal guardian present.

Others

• Organized groups such as churches, corporate groups, the YMCA, outdoor clubs, etc. may qualify for a discount on walking tours.
• Group must be reserved in advance. Call 209-736-2708 or toll free 866-762-2837 to make reservations.
  
• No discounts are given on the rappel other than to repeat customers.
  
• Discounts are available for the wild cave expeditions for groups of 7 or more who do not qualify for any of the other discounts. (Any minor child doing the rappel or the Moaning Cavern Adventure Trip with the rappel must have a parent or legal guardian present.)
• When making reservations, prices will be quoted according to our discount schedule based on the total number of people in group.
• A discount is also available to repeat customers.
  
• We also offer discounts on walk tours only, for the following, if discount is asked for at time of ticket purchase: Seniors, AAA, NSS, Military, Travel Service Network, NurseScape, CSEA, NCSEA
  

Discounts are not available to any group during holiday periods or on any day from July 15 to the end of Labor Day holiday. Discounts are only available between Memorial Day and July 14 to groups qualifying for a group discount on walking tours if they start before 10:59 am or after 4:01 pm. If the group has to be divided into smaller groups, their last group must start before 10:59 am.
